The ICM is approaching with keynote lecture about Columbanus and the Practice of Penance in Early Medieval Europe

The 29th Irish Conference of Medievalists is approaching! It will take place in UCD between the 1-3 July 2015. Registration is open until 30th of July. Our keynote speaker this year will be Dr Rob Meens (University of Utrecht) who will speak about ‘Columbanus and the Practice of Penance in Early Medieval Europe’. This lecture is in celebration of the 1400th anniversary of death of Columbanus.
